The Temple Mount Sifting Project is an archaeological project for researching and saving antiquities from debris of an archaeological destruction dig that took place in the Temple Mount, Jerusalem. The internships we are offering is in our research lab in southern Jerusalem. We offer hands on experience working on an archaeological sight and with archaeological artifacts. This internship will provide intern with invaluable experience working under the supervision of professional archaeologists.
The Temple Mount Sifting Project is under the auspices of Bar-Ilan University. The sifting is funded and operated by the Ir-David Foundation with the cooperation of the Israel National Parks Authority and the research and publication of the finds is funded by private donors through the Israel Archaeology Foundation.
